Nope, all Long Beach Unified students are guaranteed admission into CSULB as long as they meet the minimum admission requirements ie 3.2 GPA (this was in 2010). My GPA was 3.9 (senioritis caused that .1 point). On the other hand if you’re outside of CSULB, I don’t think its that hard considering getting A’s in highschool is really easy. The only problem with getting good grades in highschool is you tend to lose focus, lose drive with all the busy work they give you. You think “why the fuck do I need these classes anyway”. To be honest I don’t think it’ll be that hard to get into csulb at all, you have good chances coming in as a freshman or a transfer student (depending on major).
